General Directory

I am not a big fan of political parties. I expect candidates to work towards what is best for the UNITED SATES OF AMERICA, which does not require party affiliation. With that, I make every effort to eliminate any party information. There are plenty of other resources for party hounds.

In Response to my letter to 2012 Presidential Candidates, as of August 24, 2011; many candidates asked me if I was planning to run again in 2012. The question is more than fair.

Though I do not possess any plans to enter the 2012 Presidential Race for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, I will consider any serious requests from any group of citizens who wish to initiate such a campaign. Even with all the political trouble today, my experience from my 2008 campaign tells me this is not likely to happen.

Having made ready-made groups my first prerequisite to joining the 2012 Campaign, I possess one other requirement. With the valued input from many of the people I met on the 2008 Campaign, I finalized a draft for a New Constitution for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that corrects most of our troubles from within our present Form of Government and the 1787 Constitution that created that Form of Government.

Nearly all of the opposition I faced in 2008 resulted from a serious lack of properly understanding both the Founding Charter for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the 1787 Constitution for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with its Amendments. Most people I talked with had not realized the important link between the two documents. That connection aids with proper understanding the 1787 Constitution for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.



In Response: I truly an honored that several of the candidates are offering to me the position of Vice President. With each offer, I would like to immediately accept. With each offer, I decline. My refusal to accept at this point hinges on the fact that other than name, address, and limited campaign information; I know almost nothing about any of the candidates.

My first objective is to locate a candidate for whom I would register to vote. If my decision about the candidates is simply which is the least dangerous, I will not even register. At this point in the history of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, if we are not able to put into office the candidate that is BEST for our county, it is my hope that the people put into office those candidates who are the absolute worst, not merely the one who seems likely to only destroy a little.

With the absolute worst, the people become more likely to wake from their dazed life of accepting the "evils to which they have become accustomed". It is my hope that we unify in our efforts to RIGHT ourselves from those political evils.

Should I find that candidate, for whom I would register to vote, and they have offered and not yet found a Vice President they consider trustworthy; I will accept.

If I fail to find that candidate by March 2012, I must consider entering the race myself. Unfortunately, I do not get from the people, via the news, as well as local and distant conversations, that they are ready to take back control of their government as our founding ancestors designed for us to retain. I detail my position on how to accomplish this task in my book Destroy America --Vote For "The Lesser Of Evils", on another page of this website. Within the book, I also suggest several ideas I accumulated over the past several decades that will help the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Those ideas are available to any candidate to use in their campaign and once elected.

Do You Know

Do You Know that the Office of the President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is the only government official that is Nationally Elected?

Though Congressional Seats are filled from within every state, each seat is not filled with a national election. Each state elects their members to Congress. With that, it explains why each state requires different standards for electing their own members to Congress.

Do You Know that every state has different criteria for getting on the only national ballot for the office of President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? The states vary as to the dates that candidates may file for candidacy, the dates between which they can solicit for signatures to get on the ballot, the percentage of signatures required to get on the ballot, whether or not the signatures must be equally distributed from each of the state's district or not, and that is just the easy stuff.

Do You Know that most major media outlets do not consider a presidential candidate viable until they pay for millions of dollars for advertising? If you walk into a major media outlet and announce that you are a Presidential Candidate, more often than not, they direct you first to their advertising department.

Open Letter to the Editor

As of February 18, 2012 there are 356 candidates registered with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) who seek to fill the 2012 Office of the President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The FEC is the campaign finance tracking agency. They are supposed to make certain that there are no campaign finance illegalities.

To view the entire list of candidates, click on the "Candidates" tab at http://www.portablepublishing.com. I update it at least once every week, as I request information from the candidates, via the address(es) they provided to the FEC. Additional information includes where even the lesser-known candidates position themselves on the issues. Then, if you find a candidate that you think the media should "discover", you can press the buttons of your local, state, and national media to encourage them to contact that candidate.

Voting and negotiations to obtain the Office of President already started as soon as a person registers as a candidate. Negotiations include candidate seeking your voting and financial support to boost them higher in the media popularity ratings. The media (for the most part) mostly focus on attracting the candidate's campaign dollars that they worked so hard to accumulate from you.

Me? I already went through most of the process to understand many of the pitfalls of getting your candidate's name on the ballot. The difficulties increase substantially for non-party candidates because they do not have the massive political machinery that the two-party system amassed over the past century or so. The fact that there is no standard criterion for the only nationally elected government office does not help matters either.

Some of the information you will learn, at http://www.portablepublishing.com about the candidates, includes:

1. Constitutional qualifications.

2. Why the candidate seeks the office.

3. What ideas and plans that the candidate proposes.

4. Where the candidate stands on the issues.

My projected costs over the next 16 months are just over $32,000.00 of which most is my unpaid labor.

With a projected cost of just over $32,000; which national, or even statewide, investigative news resource could not afford to offer this public service to their readers, listeners, and/or viewers? One of the most ridiculous statements that I heard from editors in 2008 presidential campaign was this, "The presidential campaign is a national issue and local readers are not interested because it is not a local issue."

How cockeyed is that?

If we the people desire better options at the polls, we must support a few underdogs from time to time to help propel them to leader of the pack. Making any of the hundred-plus candidates a real option on the ballot is up to the many of us. Their only chance is that we might find at least one of them a better candidate than the typical mega-funded media-pushed candidates we tend to gripe about as being our choice of the "Lesser of Evils". Help me find that candidate.

Dear Candidate for the 2012 Office of President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,

Please feel free to correct any errors on my part. Thank you.

Briefly introducing myself: I was one of the 2008 Presidential Candidates. I understand some of the difficulties that many of you face in your campaign. View me as the non-voter I became so as to not dishonor my country by voting into office a person I thought likely to destroy the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, even if less than any of the other candidates. On my campaign in 2007-2008, far too many voters and potential voters felt forced to vote for the “Lesser of Evils” in thinking they were performing their patriotic duty of voting. That is enough about me.

I hope that you respond to this and future correspondence and requests for information and answers to questions as though you seek my vote. You see, that is exactly the case.

Because of the recent controversy and questions as to constitutional qualifications of candidates who seek the Office of President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, I quote the 1787 Constitution for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Article 2 The Executive Branch, Section 1, Paragraph 5, which states, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and has been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.” Under penalty of perjury, the Oath at the end of Section 1, to “Preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”, and the Oath of Article 6, Paragraph 2, which binds Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Officers under Oath to support the Constitution, I ask for the following information:

Thank you for your thoughtful and appropriate question. You asked the following:

“How do (you) intend to work within the powers granted to the Office you seek to either get Congress to respond properly or to somehow get around Congress and still remain within the powers of the Constitution?”

In response, I would suggest that the powers of the Presidency have been increasingly misinterpreted and misused over the years. The position of “Commander in Chief” has evolved into the perceived role of “Legislator in Chief,” which is incongruent with any reasonable interpretation of the separation of powers as particularly defined in Articles I and II of the Constitution (excluding Article III for the purposes of this discussion).

As a former CEO and turnaround expert, I learned a long time ago to distinguish between what is controllable versus non-controllable … and to only spend time on what is controllable. In that regard, I have a clear understanding of the direct and indirect powers that are reserved to the President under Article II and will implement them accordingly.

I shall put aside the civilian command of the military, the power of pardon, and the powers of treaty and appointment (supported by the advice and consent of the Senate) because they are not relevant to your question. Instead, I will concentrate on the indirect power the President has over pre-legislative activity and direct power he or she has over post-legislative enactment. This is how I will use those powers to work with Congress within the framework of the Constitution to move America in a more positive direction.

PRE-LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY: As President, I will exercise my indirect power to influence legislative direction.

I will work behind the scenes with Congressional leadership to properly define problems, identify their root cause, and evaluate all of the alternatives (rather than just those which conform to a particular Party platform).

I will communicate those same elements to the People as a bill moves through Congress to provide clarity with respect to my position.

I will privately establish a clear understanding among Congress that any bills that arrive on my desk for signature must be focused on resolving a particular issue as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible since we bear a fiduciary responsibility to the People to be good stewards of the taxpayers’ money.

In the event that Congress occasionally ignores that directive, I will:

Veto the bill;

Call a press conference that airs nationally;

Explain the irrelevant provisions that warranted the veto;

State which Member(s) of Congress authored the offending provision(s);

Post, on a website dedicated to keeping the People informed, which Members of Congress supported the bill; and,

Thirty days before each Federal election, I will call another national press conference to encourage the People to visit the website before deciding for whom they will cast their vote.

As part of the Party paradigm, Members of Congress have historically used fear tactics to sway voter response. It will be interesting to see what happens when I empower the People to make factually-based election decisions (effectively “putting the shoe on the other foot” as the saying goes with regard to “fear”).

Interestingly enough, this approach will never be taken by a Party President’s Administration because the President will be obligated to support his or her Party’s platform. While Article I creates a Legislative Branch comprised of elected officials who represent the provincial interests of their regions, Article II requires leadership that represents all of the People. Political bias may appropriately be reflected in the debates on the Hill, but it has no place within the Oval Office.

POST-LEGISLATIVE ENACTMENT: As President, I will exercise my direct power to control the execution of legislative directives.

As President, I will preside over the Executive Branch of our government. I will have direct control over the Federal Departments and Agencies that are charged with the responsibility of administering legislative directives or to which legislative authority has been delegated. In that regard, I once again will establish a clear set of expectations with respect to each Department’s and Agency’s fiduciary responsibility to deliver services as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

I will consolidate Cabinet positions to preclude any unnecessary overlap. Cabinet appointments and all associated Under Secretary and Deputy Under Secretary positions (to the degree they actually need to exist) will be made on a basis of operational merit as opposed to political expediency. Today, these positions serve as a de facto network of political appointees who do little more than represent the position of the President’s Party at speaking engagements throughout the world. That will change during my Administration.

I will set clear expectations for these positions including the need to define measurable objectives and to report on progress toward those objectives on a regular basis. Successful appointees will have a demonstrated record of operation excellence and a sincere appreciation for the importance of the civil service they will be asked to perform. Rather than serving as mere figureheads, they will be expected to serve as the Chief Operating Officers of their respective functional areas.

Federal Agencies will be functionally realigned within each Department. During the course of such realignment, my Cabinet will be directed to consolidate such Agencies to the degree possible and to eliminate all redundant operations.

Our Government has grown disproportionately over the years. Departments have expanded their power by spawning Agencies. Agencies have expanded their power by promulgating regulations that require an enforcement mechanism (in the form of more government employees) to be put in place. As a result, Liberties are eroded and the private sector is burdened with unreasonable expenses and protracted delays while awaiting needless regulatory approval.

By focusing on the operating efficiency of the Executive Branch, I will be able to limit Government intervention, dramatically reduce costs, and streamline the delivery of services just as I have done in the turnaround environments I directed in the private sector. That way, we will continue to make significant progress toward returning to a more limited form of Government (as was anticipated by the Constitution), while we simultaneously try to “turn the ship” known as Congress.

That How-To plan is Constitutionally Sound. It does not abuse any powers granted to the office. It does not usurp any powers not granted to the office. It required the governed people to take their rightful place as the people who are supposed to control and regulate the powers of their government.

To quote the 2008 Candidate, "My campaign failed because of two important reasons: Not enough people knew about the plan; Or not enough people understood the plan.

The 2008 Candidate does not intend to run in 2012 because there are not yet enough people who desire the necessary alterations to make those plans a reality. Because of that unfortunate reality, the 2008 Candidate will continue to try to teach the people need to make such plans a success, about the powers that they rightly possess with respect to controlling the powers of their government.



Have any of the Candidates Earned My Vote:

The above two candidates where PLAN information is included have come the closest to earning my trust. Will I vote for either of them? At this point, No.

One of the two presents the ides that our government should hold power over the lives of BORN citizens as adults with respect to that which is not yet born and fully under the control of the Host. It is a can of worms not worth opening. Once opened, it invites the government into absolutely every aspect of human life.

The other candidate, on his web-site makes promises about "passing legislation" that he condemns about other candidates when they do the same.
